  • Clean the dining area, wash hands, and maintain food hygiene.
  • Timings: Breakfast (7-9 AM), Lunch (12:30-2 PM), Evening Snacks (5-6 PM), Dinner (7:30-9 PM).
  • Take only what you can eat and report insufficient food.
  • Be courteous, dress decently, and queue up for food.

  • Display the weekly menu, ensure variety, and conduct surveys for preferences.
  • Track supplies and ensure the use of fresh ingredients.
  • Staff should wear clean uniforms and rotate duties regularly.
  • Have a feedback box and conduct periodic review meetings.

  • Only ID cardholders are allowed in the mess; no external food is permitted.
  • Guests are allowed with prior approval from hostel authorities.
  • Maintain the arrangement of tables and chairs in the dining area.
